Fast start

I am incredulous that January has come and gone! I usually enjoy the quietness of the first week of a new year and 2007 was no different. It seems like father time stands still for a few days after the frenzy of the holiday period and before the flurry of activities that the new year brings about.

During the first half of this January the weather was even unusually warm, but a couple of weeks ago we finally began to feel the harshness of winter, which in NY can be rough due to its constantly strong blowing wind. At midday today, while the sun shines splendidly, the temperature is at 18 degrees Fahrenheit.

In the past 3 weeks I’ve been involved in lots of activities related to my several projects. As my work pace picked up speed, my calendar also got crowded with appointments for my annual medical check ups and related tests, some of which are still ongoing. So far I have received good results, and, as I tackle what else I need to do, I feel lucky not to have to face the outdoors. I can operate and work within the confines of my residence, with sunny exposures south and west, and, even enjoy my own greenhouse effect surrounded, as I am, by my several plants!
