Although done for travel business purposes, all the way from another continent, is a wonderful recount of a recent visit to this thousands year old Albanian town, with its towering citadel, many places of cult, and famous icon collections.
The Sydney Morning Herald's article by Gemma Deavin "Smiled Upon by Saints" could not have a more appropriate title!
