It was a pleasure recently to spend an afternoon, here in NY,
with a couple of young friends that reside in Albania. They made a short trip
to the city to visit relatives during the Holidays and I was fortunate to have a long brunch with them while the weather
was good.
Due to return home yesterday, I hope that they did not
encounter great difficulties in flying back. The first big storm of 2014 has
hampered travel almost everywhere, including the East Coast of the USA and thousands
of flights were cancelled due to extreme cold temperature and high winds in
addition to the thick blanket of snow - several inches high!
